Rezwan Razani
Rezwan is an Iranian American (Dad - Iranian, Mom - Anglo Saxon) Born in the USA, she spent some years of her childhood in Iran, then moved to America in her teens. She received a B.A. in Environmental Science from UC Berkeley and an M.R.P. (Masters in Regional Planning) from Cornell. She got the environmental science degree to learn how to "save the earth." Unfortunately, studying the problems made her cynical and overwhelmed. She then got the planning degree to inform her writing of "Redemptive Environmental Science (R.E.S.) Fiction" - e.g., to escape the problems of the world by writing stories in which humanity resolves its problems. After graduating from Cornell, she took a trip to South Africa for a planning related project. This was followed with a job at Warner Bros. Consumer Products and hid out for many years. During this time she found her true voice. Among myriad of other things both great and ridiculous (she's not sure which is which), she is dedicated to finding adventurous, fun ways of exploring the Persian language and culture.
