Persian Women's Literature
Throughout history, Iranian women have written almost every imaginable type of work: novels, poems, letters, biographies, travel books, religious commentaries, histories, economic and scientific works. Yet, all too often, their work remained ignored, unnoticed or cast aside. Our goal here is to promote awareness of the breadth and variety of Iranian women's writing and to celebrate their achievements.
